The Calf Scramble takes place during the Frontier Days PRCA Rodeo hosted by the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse in July. In the Calf Scramble, 4-H and FFA members compete with one another to catch and halter one of the calves across the finish line. The successful scramblers receive a certificate to aid in the purchase of a livestock project to be raised and shown at the Parker County Junior Livestock Show the following year.
